Next generation at work
Last week, we hosted our annual Next Generation at Work event in Hoofddorp. An afternoon where colleagues brought their children to the office to show them where they spend their working days. It was a relaxed, cheerful moment that reminded us of something we value: Stay Human. Not just in our work, but in the way we interact with each other. Exploring the office together
The kids were given a behind-the-scenes look at the workplace of their parents. In our theater, they enjoyed a series of simple but fun activities:
- Balloon figures from TikTok’s Bella Ballon
- Face painting
- A bouncy castle with slide
- And a visit from Stitch for photos and high-fives
There was also plenty of time for a small office tour. Some children were surprised by how much there is to see, especially desks that move up and down. Suddenly, mum or dad’s work seemed a bit more interesting than expected.
A moment to share
What made the afternoon meaningful were the small moments: parents showing their workspace with pride, children discovering what 'work' looks like, and colleagues seeing each other in a different setting.
It was a simple reminder that work isn’t only about tasks and deadlines. It’s also about the people behind them. Taking time for moments like these strengthens the connection we have as a team.
